We are excited to announce our annual Fun Run—our biggest FUNdraising event of the year. This is THE EVENT for raising essential funds for the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) that directly supports JRES students and teachers, and funding for programs such as field trips, classroom grants, teaching supplies, and more. Students can participate in the fundraising leading up to the event in two ways:
- Student Fundraising Pages: Leading up to the big day, students participate by collecting donations. Each student has the option for their own fundraising page, which can be accessed and customized by logging into our PTO website at https://jrespto.membershiptoolkit.com/. Once you log in, you will see a section titled "Fundraising Pages". Click on your students name, and you can share the URL from the top of the page with friends and family.
- Kindness Cards: Students can submit acts of kindness to earn raffle entries—so every child has a chance to participate and win prizes! Students can turn in a Kindness Card for each act of kindness they perform.
What to Expect on Race Day
Every student will take part in the Fun Run during their specialist class on Thursday, September 25th, by running, walking, or dancing laps with their classmates. Race day will be full of music and fun! We’ll all dress in class colors (look for a teacher email), so that together we will look like a rainbow! Parents are not required to attend but can sign up to volunteer. Class times are listed on the volunteer signup (link below).
