Become a PTO Volunteer!

There are many ways for you to contribute to the JRES community! Here are some areas where we need extra help, but we're also open to your ideas about how your skill sets and passions might help our teachers and students.

Open volunteer positions for 2022/ 2023:

Community Engagement: We're looking for someone who can work with our local community partners on community engagement and fundraising events, like fundraising dinners and purchasing events, sponsorships and prizing. Reach out to for more.

Masterpieces in Art: Volunteer to be part of our Masterpieces in Art program, either as a lead instructor or as a supporting instructor. You don’t need a formal arts degree to be a part of our community, just a positive and collaborative spirit. Consider assisting a lead volunteer or bringing new inspiration to our artistic repertoire. It's a great opportunity to spend time in your child's classroom.  Sign-up to volunteer with Masterpieces in Art in your student’s classroom(s) on back-to-school night, email us anytime at for more information, or click here to volunteer now!

Book Fair Co-Chair: Help to organize our four day Scholastic Book Fair, which is a favorite among teachers and students. From helping to order books, coordinating volunteers and putting together the annual breakfast, there's something here for everyone. Reach out to for more info.

Running With Ed Chair: We're looking for a leader who can help coordinate JRES participation in Running With Ed, in partnership with the Park City Educational Foundation. This is for someone who wants to own something really important for our school and has time to dig into planning and details. It's so much fun! Reach out to if you're interested.

Green Team: Join the Green Team! Options include helping out at lunchtime helping with our composting program, helping to expand our initiatives and coordinating our recycling projects (not all of the above but any of them!) Reach out to if you're interested.

Look out for sign ups for parent volunteers at events throughout the year, or if you don't see something that fits your talents, please reach out to Jaime Wooley

Thanks in advance for your interest and involvement!
