2023-24 New Kindergarten Parent Orientation
Date: Thursday, April 20, 2023
Time: 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM
Location: JRES Library
Presentation Information: What to expect, how to prepare, expectations of parents, expectations of students, meet the teachers, office staff and principal.
Volunteer Opportunities
Picture Day April 5th
"Underclass Grads" picture day for kindergarten and 5th grade is Wednesday, April 5th. Volunteers are needed to help the students get gowns on and off, and to direct students in and out of the photography room.
Time: 8:15 AM to finish (probably by 11:30 AM)
Room: TBD
Volunteers will receive a coupon toward the purchase of their child's portrait package.
Spring Book Fair
Spring Book Fair will be held in the JRES Library Monday March 27th through Thursday March 31st. Volunteers are needed to make this event run smoothly. Please sign up to help. National Junior Honor Society and National Honor Society Student volunteers are welcome. You can view available times and sign up here.

Fundraising
Funds raised are used for:
Funding all field trips.
Allocating $150 to every classroom for supplies each year.
Funding PlayWorks to make recess a good experience for all kids.
Approving Teacher Grant applications for resources and educational materials outside of available school and district budgets.
Supporting important programs such as MiA, JRES Go Green Team and Hawk Watch.
Showing our staff love through our year-long Appreciation Program.
